Biographies
Biographical sketches are often created for an exhibit or during the cataloging process. The Museum of Vision is pleased to present these brief outlines in an effort to increase knowledge and share findings. It is our hope that these will provide further insight into the history of ophthalmology. We encourage you to add information and thoughts through our Community Forum.

The Legacy Project
In 1999 The Academy Seniors of the American Academy of Ophthalmology were inspired to find families with multiple generations of ophthalmologists and tell their stories. In 2006 the Academy Seniors teamed up with the Museum of Vision to have the Legacy Project retained in the Academy Archives. Two publications were made, one a list of 2 generation families and one a list of 3 or more generations of ophthalmologists in one family.
