About

The Museum of Vision is a private museum located inside the national headquarters of the American Academy of Ophthalmology in San Francisco, California. Utilizing the 38,000 objects in the American Academy of Ophthalmology Foundation historical collection, the Museum of Vision preserves the history of ophthalmology and celebrates its unique contributions to science and health. We serve as an educational resource for Academy members, medical historians, researchers and the public.
